Bachelor in Engineering – Electrical Engineering

With the demand for sustainable energy supply, the growing diversity in the production and use of electrical energy and the widespread implementation of computers even in real-time jobs, the demands on engineering education have increased. The basic features of the model of electrical energy transformation and change, together with microcomputer signal processing as well as automatic and system control technology, form the basis for the realisation of the integration system.

STRENGTHS

At the end of the studies, a final work is carried out in cooperation with an efficient industrial environment. For the students there is the possibility to get to know current applied research in the field of electrical energy system technology more closely.

Since all the Bachelor in Engineering (BENG) courses are almost identical at the beginning of the course, it is possible to change orientation without great difficulty if this proves necessary for the student.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma:
  • from Luxembourg: « Diplôme de fin d’études secondaires » (classiques ou générales) or « Diplôme de technicien dans la spécialité correspondante avec modules préparatoires »
  • or foreign diploma recognised as equivalent by the Luxembourg Ministry of Education
• Languages: level B2 in German mandatory,  additionally B1 in French and B1 in English
• Motivation letter
