The Mental Health & Wellbeing Service is here to support you during your time at the University of Luxembourg. We support students and staff with a range of mental health and wellbeing difficulties such as mood disorders, eating disorders, addiction, bereavement, self-esteem and relationship difficulties. If you’re finding it difficult to engage with your studies or work or struggling to cope in general, you can access one-to-one support with our Mental Health & Wellbeing team. There is a lot of support available to you!

Confidential and free

There is always help available to you throughout your time with us at the University of Luxembourg.

The team is available Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00 and we offer appointments online, by telephone, or in-person at Kirchberg and Belval Campuses. Students and staff can book an appointment directly via our KaraConnect secure platform.

    What we offer

Our professional staff can provide you with advice and support on a wide range of mental health and wellbeing subjects, to help you succeed academically, personally and professionally.

We want you to feel like you can “just ask” whenever you are facing challenges or need support. This is especially important when it comes to your mental health and wellbeing. If you have a history or current diagnosis of a mental health issue, are concerned about your mental health or simply want to talk to someone, we would encourage you to reach out for the support we can offer.

Students and staff can book an appointment directly on our secure platform KaraConnect.
For online sessions, you’ll need to be somewhere quiet and private where you won’t be overheard or interrupted.

Good mental wellbeing can help us sleep better and feel better, enable us to do the things we want to do, and help us have more positive relationships with those around us. When it comes to the way we feel emotionally, it can be hard to recognise or admit that we are not feeling good. Our wellbeing team members will listen and give you advice on a broad range of issues. Even a single small change in just one area can improve your health and wellbeing.

Academic and support staff are increasingly having to respond to and support students experiencing high levels of serious mental illness. Given the negative consequences poor mental health can have for academic learning, creativity and problem solving, it is important that university staff can recognise and identify mental health problems.  Working in partnership with the Student Services team we can help you support and promote the engagement and positive wellbeing of all our students.

If you have concern for a student or would like advice please contact psy-support@uni.lu
