Following approval by the Board of Governors at its 10 December 2021 meeting the Rector hereby announces the launch of the second edition of the Competitive Promotion.

The policy builds on the rules laid out in the Law of 27 June 2018 on the organisation of the University of Luxembourg and defines the detailed procedure and evaluation criteria for promotion to the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor at the University.

The following positions are open in the current promotion round:

  • Assistant Professor, 6 positions
  • Associate Professor, 5 positions
  • Full Professor, 6 positions
