Grand Duke appoints Georges Ravarani as government informant

Georges Ravarani, Invited professor at the University of Luxembourg’s Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance and President of the Administrative Court has been appointed government informant by the Grand Duke on Tuesday 22 October 2013. As such, his role will be to liaise with the coalition parties and help lay the foundations of a new government by facilitating in communication and finding common ground to work from. He will then report back to the Duke whose duty it is to create a new government. Ravarani is a graduate in law from the University of Grenoble II and started his legal career as an attaché to the ministry of justice before becoming a full member of the Luxembourg district court in 1992.
