New appointment at the Institute of European Media Law

Prof. Mark Cole of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg was appointed as Director for Academic Affairs at the Institute of European Media Law (Saarbrücken), with effect from 1 July 2014. In addition to his duties at the University of Luxembourg, Prof Cole will join the Institute’s Executive Board where he will work closely with Director, Prof. Stephan Ory, and General Manager, Peter Matzneller LL.M.Eur. Mark Cole is an Associate Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg. He is Course Director of the Master's in General European Law LL.M. programme, as well as Faculty Member of the University’s Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT). His principal areas of research within the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance are media law with an emphasis on the law of new information technologies and European media law, as well as constitutional and European law.
