On 16 January, guests from around the world explored the option of studying at the University of Luxembourg during the virtual Information Day.

Potential future students received personalised guidance on studies and programmes and could exchange with study advisors and current students in private video conference rooms.

More than 800 guests from 67 different countries made the first Information Day that the University of Luxembourg organised in this form a success. 76% of visitors originated from EU countries, 24% from non-EU countries. The largest number of participants came from Luxembourg, followed by Belgium and France.

The Information Day covered all levels of education programmes, Bachelor and Master programmes, doctoral education and lifelong training. It offered guidance on general orientation of studies, application procedures, financing and accommodation, as well as a glimpse into student life with members of student associations.

Cloé Herman, a high school student from Belgium, attended the Information Day to learn more about the Bachelor en Sciences économiques et de gestion (Economics and Management) and the Bachelor en Gestion (Management). “I particularly like the University’s mobility programme. It’s really interesting and uncommon to see a university with such a large choice of destinations worldwide, and scholarships to support the students,” says Cloé.
