Two University awardees at the 8th edition of the FNR Awards

The Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication was among the highlights of this year’s FNR Awards honouring excellence in research and science communication. Two of their researchers, Matteo Polettini and Zhe Liu, received an award during the ceremony that took place on Friday, 14 October. Category Outstanding Scientific PublicationsMatteo Polettini, from the Physics and Materials Science Research Unit, was awarded on site one of the two awards in the category Outstanding Scientific Publications for his publication Efficiency Statistics at All Times: Carnot Limit at Finite Power, published in the journal “Physical Review Letters”.
Category Outstanding PhD ThesisZhe Liu, from the Computer Science and Communications Research Unit, was the winner of the Category Outstanding PhD Thesis for his PhD thesis Lightweight Public-Key Cryptography for Wireless Sensor Nodes. He received his prize remotely.
