University researchers win FNR Awards 2019

Luxembourg’s National Research Fund (FNR) has presented the 2019 FNR Awards, conferring four awards to researchers of the University of Luxembourg on 25 October 2019.

University researchers won awards in two categories: Outstanding Scientific Publication and Outstanding PhD Thesis. Each award is endowed with €5,000.

Outstanding Scientific Publications

In this category, the FNR recognised articles in peer-reviewed journals:

 The FNR also honoured two researchers of the University of Luxembourg for distinguished PhD work of exceptional scientific quality and originality:

The FNR awards aim to encourage communication between researchers, and to promote science-related activities aimed at the general public and the young. The University of Luxembourg is proud to be represented prominently among this year’s awardees.
