Société Générale Luxembourg supports the University’s COVID-19 related research project PILOT with a donation of 20.000€. The funds were generated collected by Société Générale Luxembourg, its staff and staff delegation.

The project PILOT, led by Prof. Yves Le Traon from the University’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), aims to develop a data-driven pandemic simulation and forecasting tool to support policymakers in designing safe and efficient exit strategies from the pandemic.

PILOT is co-funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) in the context of its second COVID-19 call. The additional contribution by Société Générale Luxembourg will help boost research to fight the spread of COVID-19.
