The University of Luxembourg Language Centre is hosting this BALEAP Professional Issues Meeting (PIM) to bring together practitioners and researchers interested in EAP provision for doctoral students. Proposals involving languages other than English are welcome but should be clearly relevant to EAP provision. The efficient delivery of EAP courses and support requires a knowledge of the nature of PhD study and genres as well as the characteristics and needs of this student population. We invite proposals on topics concerning PhD EAP pedagogy and genres, including but not limited to the following:
Presentations will be 20 minutes + 10 minutes for questions; workshops 30 or 60 minutes. The proposals and talks should be in English and should include implications for teaching.
